Weekly Yoga & Pilates Classes

I teach a modified form of Pilates which I prefer to refer to as Core Fusion. This practice has a way of helping direct the student's attention to the weaknesses in their body. Many acute and chronic injuries are caused by an imbalance between the major extrinsic muscle groups and the lesser known intrinsic groups. After just a few classes most students realize a greater ease of performing the movements, improved posture and function in their daily life, and an overall sense of difference in how they carry themselves in their body. Many common aches and pains are also resolved shortly after students start on their core journey.
My yoga classes are an eclectic blend of traditional asana (postures) and core fusion. In practice we express gratitiude for the gifts we've been granted through movement (asana), meditation (dhyana), and devotion (bhakti). Just as the grandeur of a tree is only as established as its roots, strength in yoga is developed from the inside out as well.

Power Yoga: Tuesday & Thursday 12:30-1:30pm
Village At Gainey Ranch, Scottsdale, AZ
Flow Yoga: Monday 5:30-6:45pm
Functional Stretch: Tuesday 8-9am
Basics Yoga: Saturday 3-4:15pm
Pilates Joe Studio, Scottsdale, AZ
Pilates: Thursday 5:30-6:30pm
